There seemed to be a lot of groups dealing with .net and various web technologies but nothing dedicated to Java/J2EE. I envision this as a group for people that wish to network with other Java Enterprise professionals in the Chicago area.
I decided to start this group because I'd like to meet with other people using Clojure. The purpose of the group is to share and learn about Clojure through presentations, group projects, and so on. Anyone interested in learning more about Clojure is welcome!
